Environment
We will ensure your comfort is our top priority.
We offer a hospitable environment which is climate controlled and provides background music in all areas. Our waiting area will not be full of waiting patients to add to your anxiety. Our team is friendly and approachable.
Expectations
When you arrive for your first appointment our reception will welcome you to the practice and confirm your details. We will ask you to complete our medical questionnnaire so the dentist is fully aware of any pre-existing conditions which may affect their assessments and possible treatments.
if you require additional information or queries addressing please ask the person at the reception. Remember this is a two way process where we wish to find out about your concerns and requirements and want you to fully understand our processes and recommendations.
At your appointed time you will be escorted into the surgery and introduced to your dentist. Again, the dentist will discuss your concerns and requirements with you before carrying out an extensive examination with appropriate x-rays, photographs and models. The dentist will discuss their findings and recommendations with you and answer any questions. Depending on the work required, you will be given a full written treatment plan or a summary estimate for your second visit.
The dentist and support staff may use our educational and simulation software to aid understanding of treatment proposed.
Two days prior to your second visit you will receive a courtesy reminder.
On the day of the visit we will reaffirm your details and your understanding of the proposed treatment. Again, questions are encouraged. The treatment will be completed or another appintment made. if the treatment is complex or extensive we will call you to ensure you are not in pain.
At the end of the treatment we will ask you to complete our customer satisfaction questionnaire and, if you are happy to, provide a testimonial.
We will thereafter ensure you receive regular recalls so we can continue to look after your oral hygiene.
